Florida Stand Your Ground Law

In Florida, you can stand your ground and use deadly force if you (1) are in a place you have a legal right to be; and (2) believe using deadly force is necessary to defend yourself against imminent death or great bodily injury.

The law is codified in Florida Statute 776.
