Jessica Travis

Jessica Travis is a Board Certified criminal defense attorney with over 15 years of litigation experience. She serves as the Managing Partner at Fighter Law, leading the firm’s team of attorneys and overseeing daily operations. Jessica is deeply committed to ensuring every client feels heard, understood, and fully represented.

Jessica began her legal career as an Assistant State Attorney, prosecuting criminal cases at both the misdemeanor and felony levels. She took many cases to jury verdict and gained invaluable insight into the criminal justice system. Her early experiences shaped her passion for helping clients navigate complex legal challenges. Over the course of her career, she has defended clients charged with offenses ranging from DUI to murder, trying over 100 cases.

Jessica also has extensive experience in family law, handling matters such as divorce, alimony, custody, and child support. Her expertise extends to appeals, frequently filing appellate cases in both criminal and family law, and navigating these complex matters with skill and precision.

Before partnering with her close friend, Tom Fighter, Jessica spent 10 years running her own law firm, where she honed her passion for guiding people through their most difficult times. Ms. Travis is a Board Certified Lawyer by The Florida Bar. She was also ranked by Super Lawyers as one of Floridas’s Top Attorneys of 2024. She is an owner and principal and serves as the managing partner at Fighter Law.
